The song โThe Jester Duplicityโ is the fastest one on the entire album, alternating blast beats ๐ฅ with extremely harmonious refrains, while in the verses the broken rhythms of guitar, bass and drums weigh down the sound in full Marble style.![]()

โ The lyrics are based on the southern Italian medieval poem โ๐
๐๐ ๐ ๐น๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐ข๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐โ by Cielo d'Alcamo. The date of composition is between 1231 and 1250, in medieval Sicily. The work is a dialogue, a contrast between a suitor (enterprising and resolute), played by a court jester, and a woman who, at first, flaunts towards him an attitude of sufficient superiority but then yields to the flattery of the suitor.![]()
๐ค The band maintained the contrast between the lady and the jester thanks to guest singer ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ข, whose scratchy, melodic timbre perfectly complemented ๐๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐'s choruses.![]()
